RYA Course Training

Courses from Poseidon will ensure that you'll be completely confident out on the water, and you'll have the certificate as evidence of your ability.

Powerboat Level 2

All you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat

Persoanl Water Craft

The RYA Personal Water Craft Proficiency course is useful for novices and experienced jet ski users. 

Powerboat Instrutor

The RYA Powerboat Instructor course is taught in a variety of small open powerboats such as RIBs, dories and sportsboats and is aimed at a variety of users from casual leisure boaters to professional small boat skippers.

Yachtmaster Theory

Provides background knowledge to skipper a yacht on coastal passages by day & night. The RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster theory course is an advanced course that builds on the Day Skipper theory. 

Advanced Powerboat

 Aims to teach boat handling, seamanship, pilotage and navigation up to the standards required to drive a planing powerboat safely by day and night in tidal coastal waters, with which the candidate may be familiar, in more demanding conditions. 

Jet Ski Instructor

Personal Watercraft (PW) Instructors are experienced PW drivers who have been trained and assessed to run the RYA's

The Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course and the Introduction to PW Safety course, which is for guests on Superyacht charter holidays and ski riders alike.

Motor Crusing

If living on board, cruising the coast or venturing further offshore appeals, why not give motor cruising a go? 

Motor cruisers have accommodation and cooking facilities on board, offering a degree of comfort while afloat. How adventurous you are is up to you!
